I do both traditional cultures and editing and digital scrapbooking. I made a tradition for years, even before it became a hobby fashionable, and now lean toward all-digital. I think they are the pros and cons of both. These are the three best things about scrapbooking Traditional:
1) Scholarships
Many traditional scrapbookers make their work better with friends and knowledge in the context of monitoring or "harvest". Everyone extends their supplies, gadgets, photos, documents and work on their books, while in cats, the comparison of pages and ideas of the loan. I think this is a bit like a bee quilting, but not all the world working on the same project but themselves. Women in particular need this type of scholarship alive - but does not appeal to men as well. This is mainly a gender difference - my father kept the albums and my kids love books. They simply are not interested in dating groups to do it! Go to a culture is an opportunity to meet people with similar ideas, it is food for the soul. So the next Once you're inclined to take a couple of hours and go out with friends and working on an album, talk to your partner is cheaper than shopping!
2) get to work
Traditional scrapbooking is an art form. The books are created and assembled hand, with handwritten notes in this review on individual pages. Although there are many kits available that basically lay the pages and the user simply mounts photos to the right place, this kind of scrap is still unique. The contact process and the election documents to the fund and use attributes of a great creative stimulation - is not uncommon to receive a great idea on how to solve a problem unrelated to the time an album.
3) Creating a legacy
II I the keeper of the family of the two scrapbooks compiled by my great-aunt Reba in 1900. With black paper, corner small photo images containing pencil and white labels carefully to identify the location where, who and when, these books are a real family treasure. I feel very lucky to have someone wrote his memoirs in a permanent place as an inheritance to their offspring and parents. I found these books to school for my kids for the chorus of "oooh" and "ahhh" in funny clothes, hats, and big old trains!
